Crossover Universe/Altami - New Life 👨‍👩‍👧

Summary: Altaïr and Tami are becoming parents. Trigger Warning: Childbirth (not described in detail, but just in case)

Posted on my birthday! :3 I expected it to be shorter (probably around 500 words), but it ended up being almost 1.5k words. Oh well... 🤣

"Tami… Breathe, habibti…" whispered Altaïr holding the hand of his wife who was going through labor pains.

"Altaïr, I'm... I'm scared," Tami sobbed. She had tears in her eyes from both the pain and the fear that something bad might happen to her or their baby. In addition, she was stressed with the presence of the doctor and midwives.

"Please stay with me." She squeezed his hand tightly.

"Don't worry, dear," Altaïr comforted her and kissed her on the head. "I'm scared too, but you'll be fine. Our little girl will be here soon. I'm here with you, sweetheart. I'm not going anywhere. Just keep breathing and pushing…"

Then Tami inhaled and started screaming in pain while pushing…

After several hours of agony, the little girl finally entered the world. She was crying almost at the top of her lungs which meant she would probably be healthy.

"Tami! Sabina is here! We finally have a little daughter!" Altaïr beamed with happy tears in his eyes. Except that Tami was losing consciousness due to the pain, but the cries of their little daughter tried to keep her eyes open.

"Tami? Tami! What's wrong!?" Altaïr noticed his wife's condition and began to panic. The doctor and nurses immediately tended to her while the midwives took care of Sabina.

"Sir, you need to go out!" The doctor ordered him.

"No!" but Altaïr refused, "I'm not leaving my wife!" he yelled, defending himself from the nurses, "I don't want to lose her! She is my everything!"

From all the chaos, Tami closed her eyes and passed out…

"Tami… Habibti…" She heard her husband's sorrowful voice again, "Sabina, your family and I need you, my love. Wake up, please..."

In a moment, she heard the whimpering of their little daughter who needed her. She finally slowly opened her eyes. The first thing she saw was Altaïr holding their little treasure in his arms. He was trying to comfort the tiny baby, so he didn't notice that his wife had finally woken up.

"Altaïr?" Tami echoed weakly.

He lifted his head and his eyes brightened when he saw her awake. "Tami! My beloved Tami! You're alright!" He burst into tears of joy and kissed her forehead several times before finally kissing her lips passionately.

"I thought I was going to lose you…" he murmured leaning his forehead against hers.

"What happened?" Tami asked.

"You passed out probably because of the pain. It scared me a lot, but luckily the doctor stabilized you just in time."

"And is Sabina okay?"

"Yes, she's fine, habibti. I'll get her to you right now." He placed little Sabina against Tami's chest and the little girl calmed down as she heard the heartbeat of her mother.

"Oh my… She's beautiful," Tami whispered in disbelief, shedding happy tears. "Agree, habibti,'" Altaïr sobbed with delight as his wife.

Both parents stared at their little daughter cuddling closer to her mother, but soon she began to cry again. "It must be cold for her," Tami remarked concernedly.

"I'll wrap her in a blanket, dear. Hold on…" Altaïr picked Sabina up, wrapped her in a pinkish blanket, and returned her to Tami again, who hugged her tenderly and kissed her forehead.

Then Sabina slowly opened her eyes and saw her parents for the first time.

"Hi, Sabi… We are your mama and baba and we love you very much already," Altaïr whispered softly to their baby daughter and kissed her gently on the cheek.

This made little girl giggle. Tami smiled more at his tenderness and she nuzzled both of their heads.

"I've never seen you so affectionate before," Tami joked, "Expect towards me of course."

"Well, I'm supposed to be affectionate towards my girls, no?" Altaïr chuckled playfully and kissed his wife on the cheek.

Suddenly Sabina started crying again. "Aw, dear. What's wrong again, alsghyr?" Altaïr asked concernedly to the little one, taking her into his arms to rock her gently.

Sabina's crying quieted down while holding her, but she kept shedding tears out.

"She's probably hungry," Altaïr realized, staring at his little daughter, "Will you try to breastfeed her, honey?"

"It'll be best for her," Tami smiled. Altaïr handed their baby to Tami and helped her hold the little one's head so Sabina could eat properly.

"You were right," Tami whispered, "She's hungry. I don't know if I'll ever be a good mom," she became nervous.

"Oh come on, habibti! We're at the beginning of our parenting journey. And you said a little while ago that she was cold and it was true," Altaïr encouraged her, "You'll be a good mom, Tami. I'm sure of it. We'll learn together." He kissed her forehead affectionately, which cheered her up.

"Thank you, Altaïr. You're so sweet as always and I hope you'll be a good father, too." Altaïr smiled warmly and caressed Tami's cheek. "I thank you as well, my precious wife."

Together they gazed at their little treasure that had finished eating. Sabina yawned and began to sleep in her mother's arms.

"Sweet dreams, little one," Tami cooed softly as she gently petted Sabina's head.

Then Altaïr stiffened a little and blankly glanced around the room. He was wondering…

"Altaïr?" Tami suddenly addressed him, bringing him out from his thoughts, "Are you alright, drahý? You look like something's bothering you. I hope there is no some issue with Sabina."

He raised his eyes to his wife and daughter and shook his head slightly with a small smile. "There's nothing wrong with Sabi, don't worry," he answered softly, "She's perfect. I'm just wondering if we would… Quit the assassin duties."

"What?" Tami was surprised, "But what will the Brotherhood say about it?"

"I want us to give our full devotion to the Sabina and I could protect us from the Templars and other dangers. And the life of an assassin is not for you, Tami."

"What do you mean by that?"

"Because we're parents now, and you deserve a better and safer life than fighting and killing."

"Well, you know… I joined the Brotherhood to be closer to you, so they can easily let me leave. But I don't know if they would let you just go since you were born in the Brotherhood and you are a legendary and very important assassin. What if they need you to fight the Templars or some other great evil?"

"They'll understand it, my love." Altaïr cupped Tami's cheeks and stared deeply and affectionately into her eyes.

"You and Sabi need me much more than the entire Brotherhood does right now. I'm no longer more important to them than I used to be. The Templars have grown weak since they lost their alliances with the other factions and the Assassins reconquered Accipiteria back. The Brotherhood doesn't need me anymore. I have accomplished what they needed and for that we can retire. We don't need to continue to experience more violence and killing anymore. I just want to live in peace and be happy and safe with you and Sabina… as a family, got it?"

Tami nodded and they kissed on the lips. "You're maybe right, dear," she cooed and petted Sabina's head, "We could step down from the Brotherhood. I'm not going to let our Sabi go through so many terrible things like we have. But is it the right decision? What if something terrible will happen and we will regret it?"

"You don't need to worry, habibti," Altaïr's smile returned to his face and he hugged them both, "I will protect you and our little one, forever. Plus, your family will protect us as well, no?"

"I know you and they will, drahý," Tami smile and she held his palm with her right hand, "Lets start a new fresh beginning together as a family." Instantly, Tami yawned, "Geez, this birth made me want to sleep."

"You sure about this?" Altaïr questioned in concern, "What if you don't wake up agai-?" This time she put her hand to his cheek and stroked it gently with her thumb.

"Now you're the worried one, sweetheart. We're switching this between us, aren't we?" Tami snickered, "I'm feeling better now, Alty. Trust me, I would like to get some sleep."

"Fine," Altaïr relaxed and playfully crooked his eyebrow, "But I'll sleep beside you."

"What? Alty! This bed is only for one pers-"

He carefully got into bed under the blankets, wrapping his arms around his little family and snuggling gently against them. "Sleep well, my precious little doves," he whispered and kissed both their heads, "I love you both… And I'm also proud of you two…"

"We love you too, drahý… Good night…" Tami sighed softly and closed her eyes relaxed.

Sabina got between her parents and nuzzled into them with her first little smile.

Later the doctor opened the door, "Mr. Ibn-Umar? Is everything alr-?" And saw the whole family sleeping together in one bed peacefully with smiles on their faces.

He realized that everything had gone well after all, nodded happily at them and closed the door quietly…

A very dumb comic I've been working on for a long few days. Idk what it was supposed to be about exactly... 😔

Some parts are done poorly like the water photo and the flowers are not rigged at all, because for two or three days in Blender I was just modifying Arno's new model I ripped from the game and it was traumatizing... 😭
